Stencils have always been so much fun to play with. I've used them on walls and wood, in my art journal and on tags but I've never used a stencil on a card before. I've also never seen a stencil designed to work with a die cut! Simple genius I tell ya.

Leave it to Tonic Studios! Their Double Detail sets come not only with dies that do the cutting, but they also have stencils that fit the die cuts. You can use the stencils with paint, embellishment mousse, inks. 

And glitter. Oh yeah, I said glitter! By using the stencil with adhesive I was able to sprinkle on different colors of glitter. LOVE IT. 

Here is the Daisy Burst die and stencil set used with several colors of Nuvo Pure Sheen glitter. This glitter is super fine and silky smooth plus it's so easy to use. The best thing about it? It really sticks to the adhesive. No "fall off". That's always a problem with other glitters but not with this one! 

I mounted the whole thing on top of a Threaded Scallop Circle layering die- a great basic that can be used in a million different ways- and added a sweet sentiment to finish it off.
