What do you get when you cross a simple scalloped edge punch with some tissue paper? Flowers of course!

I punched out a bunch of circles from some tissue paper and stacked them all up; a few stitches in the center to hold them together and it was almost done. To make the "petals" I snipped along the edge just enough to separate the layers. 

With a button glued to the center, all that was left to do was to fluff up the petals! These were really fun to make and there is no end to what you can use... I'm thinking that some layers of tulle or lace tucked in between the tissue could look pretty cool. Rhinestone buttons would sparkle. Maybe some velvet leaves as an accent. 

Hmmm...... I think there will be more of these in my future!
