hats off to you...

I love all things vintage. And if it's vintage AND has some French style to it, well... I'm paw-sitively smitten.

The Pawsome Poodle die from the Pampered Pets Collection was so darling- I could just picture him prancing around on a leash. When I found the image of this dapper gentleman I couldn't get to work fast enough to put them all together on a card!

A small slit cut in the image allowed the baker's twine leash to slip under the gentleman's gloved hand and I tied it around the poodle's neck. Nuvo Crystal Drops in black became his nails and the tip of his little pointed nose.

The postcard in the background had such an elegant gold border- I wanted to showcase it even more. I used my Nuvo glue pen to follow the existing lines and once the adhesive dried (it took only about a minute!) Tonic's gilding flakes went down beautifully. A tiny brush took off the excess gilding and I was left with the perfect golden accent.
