patty cake, patty cake...

...baker man, MAKE me a cake as fast as you can...!
For the past couple weeks I've been working on a project that began with a stack of paper mache boxes and an awesome die...

I covered the boxes with papers that remind me of a party, especially the one used on top of each round- it looks like it's covered in sprinkles! Add some pom poms and vintage images and it's almost done.

As I begin wrapping the whole thing with the music die it is really beginning to come together like the picture I have in my head... it's almost there (sorry about the blurry photo).

I'm really hoping to wrap this up tomorrow so that I can share the finished project with you!
