I'm not sure if it's the images, the colors or the way the whole thing played out but it makes me feel happy.

A long time ago I found that it was really fun (and extremely economical) to work on coasters. You know the ones- they're in the dollar bins in packs of 10 for $1. Whatever they're made from makes a sturdy base that readily accepts matte medium.
I like to treat it just like anything else I work on by adding dimension. I'm all about the dimension! Layers make things interesting and keep your eye moving.
Lastly, don't forget to add a label to your project so that you can sign and date it. Write a little note to yourself. Make it a love note- we can all use a little more love!
