holiday alterations...

I've wanted to play with one of the Tim Holtz Alterations boxes for a long time and finally got a chance with my last design team project. When I opened the box it was filled to the brim with goodies! (thank you Laurie and Christine)

This project went together in just a few hours- the thing that took the longest amount of time was deciding what to put into each box. I really wish you could see how cute the little battery-operated lamp is when it's turned on!

The individual compartments really lent themselves to the layering of items inside, each one becoming a tiny diorama of sorts.

I am really excited about making another one of these that I can keep (design team projects belong to the store). So many ideas to play with, so little time!
