More posies today! I had so much fun making the paper ones yesterday that I grabbed some fabric and started all over again...
This time I cut random circles from some rayon lining, used the flame from a tea light to 'melt' the edge and then snipped into the circle to create petals. Once again I used the flame to melt the edges.
A side-effect of the fabric as it shrinks is the nice crinkle it gets!
A few layers of paper flowers between the fabric petals brought it to life! After I glued the layers together I tucked a couple leaves underneath and added a beautiful bling-y button from Melissa Frances.
