banners and buntings...

The other day when stitching together the 'heart string' banners, I realized this was just the tip of the iceberg...

Surely there must be dozens more ideas out there that I was going to have to try!
The new one today was made up of strips that I'd trimmed from papers while preparing kits the other day... I just grabbed anything that looked like it might work together.

I folded each strip in half and then cut either a point or a "v"-shaped notch into the end... folded each one over a long piece of bakers twine, put a dab of glue to hold it together and voila! A cute little Valentine bunting!

Grab some scraps and get to creating!
