When the beautiful
Art Inspired Studios opened here in town, they put out a call for their design team. I found out a couple weeks ago that I made it! Yay!!
So for our first 'assignment' we were all given different kits. Let's just say I ended up with a kit that was 'less than I'd hoped for'!
OK, I hated it.
I hated it AT FIRST. I decided that rather than stress over elements that were certainly not something I'd ever choose for myself, I'd just make them into something I could use!
Out came my beloved Heirloom White spray paint (there is nothing that can't be fixed with a little spray paint) ...
Now those chipboard stickers were something I could work with... (these ended up being used on several projects that I'll show later)

Same goes for the little pink & blue label holders. They weren't actually a bad product, they were just a bad color
for me... but a little spray paint and voil`a!

I took a stamp that I'd bought that same day from the
Tinsel and Treasures show (gaaa! That show was SO full of inspiration- can't wait for next year's!) The stamp is from Lisa Super at
Vintage Handmade and was the perfect little size to fit the label holder.

I covered the back with a strip of vintage sheet music, added some butterfly wings and a little seam binding I dyed to coordinate. Some Glossy Accents and a beautiful vintage pearl drop that I'd found at the same show and it was done!

Now that little pink label holder is something I can wear!
