Here is one of the projects that we made on Tuesday... the chipboard stars came in packages at Michael's, something like 12 for $1.99... we covered them with paper and then just added whatever we wanted. CountryLiving.com had some great vintage images to download and play with this month. You can find them
here.
Lately I've been addicted to hand-dying rayon seam binding and thought I'd try to make some for our project using red and blue ink. Here's what it ended up looking like after a couple tries- I really like it.
Oh yeah- the dollar store had these great buntings, too. I love them!
Aren't they great? The ones I've had for years cost a small fortune for each one. So for a buck, I figured I needed at least 10 or so!
More projects from our crop day tomorrow...

Where's your Butterfly frame...? Aren't you glad I thought of that idea!
Love the seam binding. Looks great! Cute little stars too. Your Fourth of July is just popping out all over! Love it!
The seam binding turned our really neat. Had never thought of that before. I also just found out about this party and wish I had known!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh~ Maybe next year.

OK...these are just sooooo cute! I love it and I could see this lending itself to other holiday themes as well. Super cute. And your hand dyed seam binding is great. I got boxes of Easter egg dey to play with and try myself. Yours turned out really cute. Thanks for the inspiration.
